  My husband and I had great experiences at Tracy Jewelers while purchasing my engagement ring, our wedding bands and jewelry for our wedding. Unfortunately, their great customer service ends after the sale. After our wedding we went back in to see what our options were with my husbands wedding band because after wearing if for 3 weeks it was completely scuffed and scratched. When we bought the ring we were told it was scratch resistant, however it most definitely is not. We took the ring in to see what our options were and ask why is was scratching so badly, we were told that scratches as nice because it gives it character and there weren't really any other metals we could buy that would work for us. We also were told we could resize his ring at anytime. As his ring was constantly sliding off his finger we had decided we would at least get it sized down to fit correctly, after asking to have it resized we were told it could only be sized up. We were given the option to send his ring in to be exchanged for a bigger size, but were informed we wouldn't want to do that because we would lose the sentimental value of having the ring we got married in. When we told the sales guy that it wasn't an option at this point to keep it because there was no way it wouldn't fall off and get lost, he gave my husband an entire size down to try on and then proceeded to look at him like he was an idiot when he was surprised it fit so tightly. The associate said he would check if they had 1/4 sizes and after a few minutes returned to say they do not, I piped in and asked if it was possible to get a 1/2 size, again looked at like an idiot and then he handed him a 1/2 size option to try. It fit perfectly. so the original ring was bagged up to be sent in and we were told to check back for it early next week. We left feeling so defeated and discouraged by the entire process, not only did we lose the ring that was sentimental to us it was replace with the same type ring that will also be scuffed up in within weeks. This was not a solution and we should not have been treated the way we were, I am so disappointed because we did have good experiences at Tracy Jewelers but after this we will not be back.
