I called our sales lady two weeks after we ordered our refrigerator to find out when we would receive it. She lied to me and told me she checks orders that have come in every Friday then schedules delivery. I found out she was lying when I pulled out our paperwork a week later to call her again and noticed her hours are listed on the paperwork and she doesn't work on Fridays. So I went into the store, 3 weeks after ordering our fridge and was told it came in that week. I couldn't get scheduled for delivery until the next week since my sales lady doesn't work on Fridays and was sick on Saturday. Our fridge was finally delivered a month after it was ordered. It was delivered brand new in the box but for some reason had multiple scrapes in the paint on the side. We paid for water line when we bought the fridge but it wasn't on the truck so we couldn't hook up the ice and water dispenser right away. The delivery guys told me someone at Fred's would contact me on Monday for a credit for the scrapes in the brand new fridge as well as credit for the undelivered water line. Did anyone call me on Monday? No. Did they call me on Tuesday? No. I had to go into the store and wait 30 minutes for someone to calculate and process my $113 credit. Fred's would have kept that money if I didn't go into the store. The man who took care of my credit tried to blame it on the delivery drivers who were the best part of the whole shopping experience at Fred's. The worst thing about the whole purchase was our sales lady! We went in looking for a certain style refrigerator, hoping to find a good deal at the ding and dent store. They didn't have what we were looking for so the sales lady offered to order one for us. I was looking at Fred's website after waiting 3 weeks to get our fridge and noticed they have the same fridge as we bought in a bigger size for the SAME PRICE. Our sales lady called me after I left the store for my credit as she heard I had a bad experience with the new fridge. I told her I was upset about not getting the bigger fridge. First she told me I said the only fridge I could afford was the one I purchased. I pointed out the are the SAME price and so she told me I had to have the fridge I got to fit in the space I had for my fridge. We had our fridges measurements with us but she told us most fridges are standard size so there was no need to look at measurements. The truth is she is inadequate at her job and I paid for it. Besides looking for a good deal we went to Fred's to support local business. We have one more appliance to replace in our house and we will definitely save ourselves the poor service and lies when we buy it from Home Depot.

Good selection and decent prices but the service was less than satisfactory. We picked out an $1,800 gas range and a $220 chest freezer but wanted to check out the North Spokane location before purchasing. We returned the next day to buy the range and freezer and were passed back and forth between two salesmen who were not communicating with each other. They messed up my financing and forgot to include the freezer in my initial purchase. We planned to pick up our purchases the next day but were not able to due to my husband's work schedule. I called to let them know that we would not make it and asked if the items had been marked as sold in the store. They told me on the phone that they could load the items in my truck but could not strap them down. They did agree to 'coach me through' tying it down with straps. When I showed up the next day they acted like I was putting them out by asking for (verbal) help with the straps. They also had not marked the range as sold (luckily it didn't sell) and failed to have the freezer sent from their warehouse. After a phone call with my husband, they agreed to deliver a freezer from the warehouse later in the week. The easiest part of the whole deal was the delivery of the freezer. The delivery guys called to apologize for being 5 minutes outside of the two hour delivery window and carried the freezer to my basement no questions asked. They were very friendly and very professional. I gave two stars because the selection is good and the delivery service was excellent.

Disastrous day turned good at Fred's. The third try I finally got an over the counter microwave to fit into my cutout. Fred staff were wonderfully accommodating as I trudged in and had them load and unload 3 times. Even they were laughing before I got finished.
